Creating & producing luxury canvas hampers for a restaurant chain & online stores
How Supreme Creations helped craft these well-made luxury large canvas bags.
Yotam Ottolenghi has brought middle eastern dishes to a new life with his expert knowledge of colors, flavors and food. The Ottolenghi chain of restaurants and online store, founded in 2002, are now spread all over London.
Working on promises to ‘bring joy into cooking’ and to ‘make people happy through their food’, Ottolenghi has managed to transform into a household name for the Londoners.
For a brand which offers a wide range of products, including cookbooks, spices, cooking sauces, table-wear and gifts; sold through the online store & in the restaurants, Supreme Creations was tasked with the project to create luxury large canvas bags for their online store. The bags were meant to be sold online through the ottolenghi.co.uk website, displayed in their hamper & gifts collection. Our bags were to be the perfect fit for the festive gifts, for picnics, and to carry heavy jars and bottles.
How we produced a range of large & luxury canvas bags
We wanted to bring variety to the bags and in the same decided to create them in four colors – green, red, orange and white. A pocket was added to the bags, making it easier for customers to store any utensils or other necessities securely in these large bags. The color swatches which were agreed between the client and the factory were used to match the print of the bags.
Our team at Supreme Creations designed a bag which was perfect for the outdoors, from picnics to nature outings or shopping trips! These bags which were created as part of the famous chef Ottolenghi’s retail hamper offering, featured a custom full bleed white plasticol print along with an overprint of the distinct Ottolenghi red logo in colors of midnight blue and turquoise.
Our work was widely appreciated and we were also tasked with creating another festive version of these popular hamper bags. We designed these hamper canvas bags on a white & beige thick canvas material with the logo printed in gold. Needless to say, this version too was quickly sold out!
